How orders work
Who's who
A publisher is a trading educator running their own white-labelled FillRail platform. A member is one of their subscribers who has connected their own brokerage account to it. FillRail is the software underneath. Each publisher's platform is separate from every other and shares nothing.
Connecting an account
A member connects through their broker's own login. FillRail never sees the member's brokerage username or password. The connection belongs to that one member: the publisher can't see it, other members can't see it, and the member can remove it at any time.
Posting a trade
The publisher posts a trade: legs, strikes, expirations, and the price they want. Every member of that platform gets the same trade. There's no way to send different trades to different members. The publisher can suggest an exit time or a cancel-if-unfilled time; those show up as defaults the member can change or remove.
Sending an order
The member sees the trade as a staged order in their own account, with their own default size. They can change the quantity, the price, and any exit settings, then send it or dismiss it.
Nothing is sent to a broker until the member sends it. There is no mode where a posted trade goes out on its own, no blanket permission a member can give, and nothing a publisher can do that places an order in a member's account. When the member sends it, the order goes to their broker under their own login.
An entry that doesn't fill at the member's price isn't moved. It sits until the member changes it, cancels it, or their cancel-if-unfilled time arrives.
Exit rules
When sending, a member can attach a profit target, a stop where the broker supports one, and an exit time. Those are the member's own instructions on that one trade, and the member can change or remove them afterward. FillRail carries them out as written: it places the protective orders the member set, and if the position is still open at the member's exit time, it closes it. FillRail never adds, picks, or moves a level the member didn't set, and never opens a position on its own.
What FillRail doesn't do
Hold anyone's money or securities. Make decisions in anyone's account. Pool or split orders across members. Send orders anywhere but the member's own broker. Show a publisher any member's account, positions, or fills. Take anything from a broker, or anything tied to a trade.
How FillRail gets paid
The publisher pays a flat amount per member seat per month. It's the same whether a seat sends no orders or a thousand. No commissions, no share of results, no payment for order flow, no referral fees, nothing from any broker.
Registrations
FillRail holds no registration with the SEC, FINRA, the CFTC, the NFA, or any state or non-U.S. securities regulator. It's a technology provider. Publishers are independent of FillRail and responsible for their own compliance.
